I have MS WORD (10.2627.2625) and want to insert a picture (bitmap) and want
to have text wrap around the picture. After inserting the picture by using
“Insert Picture from fileâ€, I selected the image after it is in WORD, clicked
on FORMAT/Picture/Layout/Tight and then “OKâ€. Text can be placed over and
below the inserted picture but will not go on either side. I can move the
picture anyplace in the WORD document but cannot get text to go completely
around the picture. When moving the cursor around the document, the cursor
appears normal when over text BUT when it is over the blank space on either
side of the picture, it has a symbol to the right of the insertion symbol
that is simialr to the text alignment symbols. I cannot, however, actually
insert the cursor when clicking. The actual cursor always appears somewhere
in the text. I followed the advice in Knowledgebase Article 193107 but it
still does not wrap.

Is the picture perhaps in a text box? The symbols you're seeing sound like
"Click and type" (Tools | Options | Edit), and it sounds as if perhaps the
picture is centered in a text box. Alternatively, there might be section
breaks around it. It will help a lot in troubleshooting if you display all
the visual cues available; see
