I can't attach a file to an email

Outlook won't allow me to attach a file to an outgoing email- the error
message I receive is: Insert File not responding. I really need this
feature.

I am having the exact same problem! On two different computers! Started
Tuesday 18 April after downloading Microsoft updates. Have emailed Microsoft
to see if they can help. I feel sure the update is "conflicting" somehow with
Outlook
