I can't <ctrl><click> to move around document any more!

If I control-click on the page number in a Word table of contents I expect to
be taken to the page, but instead I get a dialog box "This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your
system administrator". I *am* the system administrator -- it's my personal
laptop! Searching the web I've found lots of users having trouble with this
message, but it seems to have a lot of different possible origins and none of
the ones I can find match my situation.

How to I get control-clicking on table-of-contents page numbers to work again?

This is running Word 2007 on XP Pro SP2, by the way.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?ZGlnaXRpZw==?=,

A search of the Knowledge Base brought up a similar article for Outlook. Don't
know if the cause may be the same but:

Thanks, but it doesn't help. The resolution "To resolve this issue, import
the registry key from another computer" assumes I have access to a computer
on which it works, which I don't :-(

The suggested steps for Internet Explorer don't resolve the problem.

Actually, looking at the description and the registry entry, that
knowledgebase article clearly relates to a different problem --
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Classes\htmlfile\shell\open\command tells windows
what to do when I try to open a HTML file -- it's set to ""C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome", so it opens Internet
Explorer. But I don't want to open Internet Explorer when I control-click a
table of contents page number, I want to stay within Word but jump to another
place in the document.

Thanks for trying, but that' definitely not it :-(
