i can't get a sound when new mail arrives, even though I 've set .

I'm using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP. I set up to get a sound when new mail
arrives, but I don't get any sound. Other sounds work normally.

Hal Hostetler [MVP S/U]

'Control Panel|Sounds and Audio Devices|Sounds', make sure there is a sound
defined for the "New Mail Notification" event.
