I can't get Outlook to open

I have been unable to get Outlook to open. Hourglass does its thing for a
moment and then I get the usual cursor. Was able to use it this morning.
Tried to inistall updates in case that helped but installation was
unsuccessful...at least that's the message I got. I don't have original
CD's...they were installed by my boss and he left the company and took
everything with him.

I would appreciate any feedback anyone has.

I have a similar issure. do a ctrl Alt and delete to kill the process, then
try relaunching
