I can't get rid of these margin outlines at the top & bottom of my

Please help.

First off, I'm using MS Office XP.

Assuming this discussion board accepts html code, here is an image of
exactly what I'm talking (I even highlighted in red one of the margin
outlines):

Okay, so I get these 90 degree, L-shaped margin outlines in each corner of
every document that I'm working on. They don't print out; they are solely
viewable on my end. I have no idea what they are called, so I don't even
know how to formulate a search query to figure out to change this particular
setting.

Please help me get rid of these nuisances! Thanks!

I'm no expert by any means, but your query intrigued me. I seem to have
found something similar in the version I use (Word 2003). Look in your
options and see if you have the ability to turn on/off your 'Text
boundaries'. In 2003 it's on the 'View' tab. Does this fix it?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I followed your and
Biankat's suggestion by checking/Unchecking the "Text Boundaries" box under
the "View" tab in the Options section of the menu bar does not remove the
stated "L marks".

I don't suppose you or anyone else has any other suggestions.

You followed Biankat's suggestion, which was incorrect and as you
discovered does not work. You obviously did NOT read or follow
Suzanne's suggestion in any way, shape, or form.

If you want to remove the corner marks, you have to give up your
ability to type in Chinese-Japanese-Korean.

Okay, that was a little harsh in tone, but I suppose deserved. I did go back
over the instructions and decided to read all of it, instead of the first
part of the resolution referencing Biankat's original advice.

Thanks for the help everyone, I've been wanting to get rid of those marks
for nearly a year now and now they're gone! Thanks again!
