I can't insert sound or scrolling text into a word doc.

see my post above (having same problem)

For the interim I have un-installed the SP2 pack and it
has resolved the issue. I have submitted a request to
Microsoft for them to advise how they will rectify this
issue with SP-2 installed on a system.

will post response when received.

available to open this object. Make sure the application is properly
installed and that it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed.
