I can't open an emailed Excel Spreadsheet

I was emailed an Excel Spreadsheet for me to download and use, but my yahoo
email couldn't open it. It directed me to the Microsoft webpage to find out
what program it came from. What do I do now????

Is it possible that you do not have excel installed on your computer?

Unless you have a copy of Excel then you will not be able to work with it
easily. You can open it if you download the free Excel viewer from Microsoft,
but you will not be able to run any code if it is in there. You can always try
something like OpenOffice which will allow you to open and work with most Excel
files, or you can buy a copy of Excel or Office.
