I cant open my ppt is a pc with office 2003

I am being driven mad! I have saved the PPT I created on my iMac with office 2008 as a 97-2004 version, yet the PPT will not open on a PC running office 2003. What am I doing wrong? How can I get this to work. I am in a dire situation.

Verify that the Office 2003 installation on the PC has at least been updated to SP1.

As shipped, PPT 2003 would mistakenly refuse to open some PPT files.
