I can't read the texts of the messages I receive in my Outlook

Hi! I cannot clearly read some of the mails I receive in my Outlook because
their font colors are too light. I tried to change them but the edit tools
are locked, even when I try to forward the message. Not all of the messages
I receive are like this, but several messages come in this form. Please
advise.
