I can't see forms in Views

I am creating forms. I have created tabs and I am cutting and pasting my
forms onto the tabs. Sporadically, I am not able to see my forms in design
and form view. I switch between the two to make sure that things look right.

All of a sudden, I can't see my forms in design view. There is just a blank
white box where my form should be, but I can still see it in form view.
Sometimes, I can't see it in form view, but I can see it in design view.
Sometimes my forms dont show up in either.

However, I can always see my tabs and tab labels.

Please help!

When was the last time you ran Compact & Repair? All that copying and
pasting cause bloat and sometimes Access plays 'magic' tricks on us, just
like you saw.

You have to be careful when cutting and pasting subforms (or any other
control for that matter) onto a tab. You have to make sure that the you want
it on is selected before you do the paste. Otherwise, you could end up
pasting the subform onto the form (over or under the tab control). When you
do this, the suform will stay visible (or hidden if behind the tab)
regardless of which tab you select.

I occassionally use this functionality to avoid loading multiple subforms.
Then, when I change tabs, I use the tab controls Change event to set the
SourceObject of the subform to the appropiate value.
