I can't see my figures in word

Jo

When I insert a figure or picture in my documents, I can't see it, I only see
its borders.

Before, If I want to see it then, I need to press SPACE or any other key.

Now, Even when I press SPACE or whatever,,, still can't see them.

The figures are there,, if I print they come,, but I only can't see them on
screen

I'm having this same problem with graphics in Word2003 and Publisher2003;
not a problem in Powerpoint2003 or Excel2003. Sometimes they don't show at
all--not even a border--the only way I even know there's a graphic on the
page is to move my mouse over where I know it is until the cursor changes to
cross-arrows; other times when I first open the document they are there, but
as soon as I scroll down the page until the graphic scrolls out of view, and
then I scroll back, it's gone (although if I hit print preview and close it
again, they come back). I was beginning to think this was a bug, or I had a
memory problem (although with a gig or memory; and 256mb of video memory, I
wouldn't think so....but maybe the vid memory is a little short for
present-day applications). At any rate, I looked at the settings you
suggested checking, and I always use print layout vice normal; and this is
still happening. Anything else to be aware of that I might change.....the
disappearing graphics are somewhat frustrating.

Thanks,
Bob

Dear All,

I draw text box and write inside it. I schroll down or up to go to the next
page. But, when I go back to see the box, the line disappears. There is only
the text left. I frustrated about this problem. Please help me to solve it.

Dear Suzanna,
The problem is solved after slowing down the hardware accelerator. My
computer has problem with the DirectX which I installed it last week.

Thanks for your valuable help.
