I cant see the clip art in my document

When I insert clip art into my document It only shows the box around it and I
cant see the picture, i tried to remove the program and reinstall it but it
is still hapening I use windows xp professional edition 2003

Tools>Options>View - clear the check for Picture Placeholders (if it is
checked) & check the box for Drawings.
