I can't send or receive messages others can?

My outlook is sending sporadically, usually after shutting down and reopening
and I am not receiving any emails. Others in my office are not having a
problem and we all use the same server.

Help!!! Our IT guy is out sick!

do you have the msn or Google desktop search installed? that will cause this
problem.

No I don't. There's been an indexing program running but, it's been on there
for a couple of weeks and I've had no problems.
