I can't tell you how much I appreciate some of the improvements..

I most often hear people complaining about "computers" and often about
"microsoft" and all the things that it doesn't do for us... and while I
recognise things can always get better, I have on a number of occasions
stopped to marvel at the great ideas, functionality and dramatic improvements
that Microsoft has made over the years. It's been an amazing journey and I
would like to say well done.

The problem I had though was that it was hard to do so. I couldn't find,
other than this, an appropriate communication chanel to tell you this without
risking having to pay for it.. as such, here is my email message - "thanks
for all your work, it is appreciated, keep it up!"

More specifically, the great tools like clipboard and "merge with existing
file" etc..., the improvements to old tools like tables and Format options,
as well as the integration between the office programs is really improving.
It's great. Excel could do with a few "user friendly" additions, but I'm
just learning how to harness the thing properly (there's a lot in there!), so
perhaps they're there and I just don't know it yet.

Yours sincerely

Rob
