I can't update

Everytime I try to use the autoupdate tool, it won't let me because it says I
need a file called STD.msi on my cd. The closest my cds (Microsoft Office XP
Standard) has is STDRET.msi, but it won't accept that. What do I do?

Hi, Andrew,

This usually points to you having a previous version of Office still
partially installed on your computer.

Please check the Add/Remove Programs application in the Windows Control
Panel to see if you still have other previous Office programs installed.
Either uninstall those, or supply their CD when prompted for STD.MSI
