i cant use my xp office since i upgraded to vista, is it possible?

Hello. I have had office xp installed when I upgraded to vista. I did get the
compatibity issues saying there may be problems. I have tried to reinstall
office xp and it does not do the complete install. Is there anyway for me to
use this version with vista? without upgrading to the 2007 office?
I found a post on Microsoft saying :
"Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Office 2003, and the
2007 Microsoft Office suites are all supported on Windows Vista"
Please help!

Try to uninstall and re-install Office XP. If that doesn't work, post back
with what error(s) or other messages you receive, as well as the source and
version of your Office XP (Professional, Standard, pre-isntalled, retail
copy, or whatever).
