I cant write any office documents, locked from modification

My office has been working fine for over a week now. I came to use it
yesterday and my daughter has been messing with my computer. I am unable to
write / change any office document (word, excel ext.). In the bottom left of
the screen when i go to type, an error says, ' this document is locked from
modification'. There hardly any menu items either and I can not select the
permission option. I've tried repairng and then even re-installing office
but had no luck. Please can some one help me out on this as I have a lot of
work to do. I am using Office 2003 Professional and it is registerd.

Sounds like "reduced functionality mode" because you have not activated
Office or because you have a trial version of Office that has expired.
Activation (required) is not the same as registration (optional). What
happens if you start Word and click on Help | Activate Product?
