I can't write on word

Dear Microsoft,

I am a hardcore Microsoft product user. I use MS 2000 and
Office XP IN my computer. But recently I had a problem in
office. The problem was I didn't write anything on word.
it means that if I press the alphabetic character key on
my keyboard(like a,b,f) nothing is happend.the enter key
also not working. Only the these key (,. <> are work.
Please help me. My machine configure is Pentium II 266
MHz. and 96 MB Ram. There is no problem in Excel or
access. Please send me the answer as early as possible.

Does the keyboard work in other applications? Have you tried using a
different keyboard?
