I change text in one box, and the text changes in other textboxes

So,
i am preparing a document with several graphs and textboxes. Lately,
whenever I want to insert a new text box, the text of older textboxes start
to change to show the contents of the new text box I just inserted. Hiting
control+z to undo the action just deletes the older textbox.

Text boxes are not linked, so I don't have a clue about what's going on or
how to solve it.
