That¹s right. This feature is not present in Excel 2008. If you¹d like it to
be in a future version, use the Send feedback choice in the help menu.

Thank you for the response. I'm running Excel 2004, not Excel 2008. Is that option not available for Excel 2004 also?

Correct. Color workbook tabs are no available on Macintosh Excel of any
version.
