I don't see any way of keeping track of mileage. Why not?

I cannot find any way of keeping track of vehicle mileage in Office
Accounting Pro 2007. In Quicken Home and Business I can do this; it allows me
to record vehicle mileage by vehicle by category (business, medical, charity,
etc.).

I have been looking for the same thing for a couple of years now.
I was hoping that this would be included in 2009 Pro but it seems that it
was overlooked again.
It seems that this could be a excel template for importing into the database.
All it would have to do is have the miles input, the account for the total
to be charged against etc, etc. Is there already a template that someone has
written that just cannot be found? Please post a link that such a template
can be downloaded if someone knows the location of one.

Thanks
Mike

If you are charging a Client, add mileage as a Service, unit price being
mileage rate, total mileage being number of units

As to tracking mileage for an expense claim, it depends on your local as to
whether its an allowable expense

Thanks for the advice. That makes sense.
