I don't see "Define the Task" as an option in my Project Guide.

My workbooks show "Define the Task" as the first link in the Tasks side pane
of the Project Guide. I don't have it showing. My first link showing is "Set
a Date to Schedule From." What am I doing wrong?

no you are not doing wrong.
it just because you are using MS Project standard version not MS Project
Professional version. am right, that u are using standard version??

The default first link in the Project Guide on the Tasks page is "Define the
Project." So, your workbook is incorrect. Beyond this, I'm wondering if
your organization is using a custom Project Guide, or if the workbook you
are using included a copy of Microsoft Project with a customized Project
Guide. Hope this helps.
