Brian,
I'm afraid I'm not smart enuf to do this. I've read the instructions you
pointed to several times and I'm afraid to screw it up and lose ALL my
contact data, etc., etc. Too many terms ['profile', 'pst' file, etc.]
with
which I'm not thoroughly conversant. I have four email POP accounts and
the
instructions read as if the added 'profile' will only deal with one.
You didn't explain how you came to the conclusion my Address Book required
'repair' of the mail profile. I thought I was dealing with my "Contacts"
and
you speak of Address Book and mail profile. Too much; I don't know the
difference/interaction between these separately named entities. The need
for
repair may have come from the import of my contact data from ACT! I did,
however, manually set up my four email accounts in OUTLOOK 2007.
I'll spend the $ and call MS Support and have someone lead me thru it on
the
phone.
Thanks for trying -- some of us just can't spend enough time to get into
the
nuts/bolts. Got to use it, not tend it like a gardener.

Unfortunately, Outlook 2007 doesn't allow you to repair the Outlook
Address
Book service in an existing mail profile. You must start with a new
profile. See this:
