I.E. 5.5 click link and open a new window

I.E. 5.5 on W2k, is there a way to click a link and have it open a new I.E.
window by default, without using the right click "open in a new window"
option?

Doesn't matter to me but a user opened a ticket on it. After looking around
it appears that the right click method is the way it's supposed to work. He
said it used to work that way, a left click and it would open a new windows.
This was before the company was taken off Novell and onto AD, and everyone's
PC was reimaged. I don't know what version of I.E. he had previously.

Thanks,

Open Control Panel->Internet Options->Advanced Tab->Check "Browse in New
Window" and okay out.

Thanks for the response, Milly. I should have been more thorough in my post.
There is a "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" option in Advanced, and
it's not checked. I don't see a "Browse in a new window" option. We're on
5.5 sp2. Turns out the user has a real need for this. He will go to a
website for a subscription database and run searches. The results are .pdfs,
and when he opens one, it opens in the existing window. He often cannot go
back to the previous page, so when he closes the pdf he has to run the search
all over again. I will look into this further; maybe a registry entry.
Thanks again.

It was renamed in IE v5.01 from Browse in new windows to Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts, however I've never gotten it to work properly. See
above link.
On the IE menu click Tools\ Internet Options\ Advanced.
The only way other than right click then launch in new window that I know is
to press the shift key when you click the link.
