i entered a key combination and now i have flags on each line

i entered a key combination and now i have flags on each line that i cant
remove. I also have dots for each space between letters and words. I hit a
control h or something in that area on the key board. But I cant seem to do
it again to reverse the process.

I assume that you're using Word as your e-mail editor. If you don't have an icon
on the toolbar to toggle the feature on and off, try using the keyboard
combination of Ctrl+Shift+8.
