I get a black screen on MS Word everytime I try to type in the d.

Using Office2003,Word documents had corrupt tables ,after using the convert
tool ( table to text, text to table ),whenever I open a docuent and want to
type ,Word goes black.

Your graphics setting in Windows is too low. You need at least 256 colours
for Office 2003 to function correctly.
