I get Instillation unsuccessfull error for office 2003 updates HE.

When trying to install update i get the error message Installation
unsuccessfull I even tried to reload office from the disk and get the same
message can any one help

"Installation unsuccessful" error message when you try to install Office XP
SP3 from the Office Update Web site:

You cannot update your Office 2003 program to Service Pack 1:

If not, you'll need to post back with more specifics, such as what version
of Office, what updates (if any) you've applied in the past, what operating
system, and what updates were being installed when the error occurred.
