I get mail attach req PowerPoint to open,& I don't have Office. M.

I keep getting attachments that need PowerPoint to open. I have never used it
or Office. When I try to download, after I click on the ActiveX bar, and tell
it to install the Active X control, Norton (even disabled) comes up and says
it "can't scan for Viruses". I click ok, then the download looks like it
finished, and the button say all downloads are complete, but that program
does not exist on my computer.......I tried all MS's suggestions....Help!

What I am trying to do is open an e-mail that was prepared in PowerPoint
Slide Show. I downloaded the free PowerPoint viewer. It is on my Start menu.
When I click it "My documents" opens. It doesn't open the e-mail?

Don;t click on the PowerPoint viewer, click on the file that you were
emailed.
