I get too many columns on a printed Gantt Chart in Project 2003

When printing Gantt charts I get more columns on hte graphic side than I
want. i.e. For all my 2007 projects, I 15 columns of data. Task Name, WBS,
Start, Finish, etc. The chart is filtered from 1/2/07 to 12/31/07 and the
print dates are the same. However on the bar side of hte chart, I get 2007,
2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. They should not show up becuase of the filters.
I need some consisstency inmy Gantt Charts because the directory of my
department scrutinizes this chart monthly and doesn't like when things are
different.

You define the timescale printed in Print... window, not by a filter.
