I GIVE UP

After assigning a new task to a resource in Project Pro 2003 I receive the
following cluster of 3 events.

Description: <Description><![CDATA[Assert Detected. The error code was also
included.]]></Description>

My setup is as follows:
Project Web Server on it's own server. SQL on another server. SP1 and
infamous hotfix applied (had to call MS). Hotfix appeared to resolve AD
replication partially but now receive these errors.

Any insight would be extremely helpful. I have tried most everything I can
see on this site. With no luck at all.

I did run the SQL portion of the Hotfix as well

The error indicates that the resource doesn't have a correct email defined
or there's some other failure going on with the notifications engine.
