I have a centering Problem on excel documents.

I have a list of Eye Drops my Dad is supposed to receive Daily.

I've centered the page vertically and horizontally.

I want to print pages back to back so that it can be trimmed and folded
in half for easy storage.

On all the page setup and page preview menus in Excel show everything
centered.

When printed it appears as if some one printed a Master header on just
the first page. The second page is printed correctly.

I've looked in preferences and any other place I can think of to see if
there is a master Setting for Headers.

I use an Hp 990C Printer with the automatic two side printing with
Driver version 2.5.

Any suggestions.

I'm not sure what you mean by "master header". Each worksheet can have
exactly one header and footer - anything else requires VBA.

What is printed in this master header?

Maybe I explained wrong. Some applications (Filmmaker for example) allow
for what is called a Master Header. which is printed only on the first
Page then other pages do not have any header information.

The first page of my Excel sheet shifts down as though some header
information is printed on first page Then any pages after center
correctly. When in reality there is nothing entered. Making it appear
there is a Master Header setting somewhere. In Word and EXCEL 2001 and
on 6.0.1.a and 5.0.1a there actually was a setting where you could set
formatting to apply only to first page, selected pages or, whole document.

I can't find anything like that in Excel2004.

I've even tried setting Header, and footer to zero in Document setup. I
still have the same problem.

The reason I need this ability is that I need (or would like to trim
sides and top and bottom to just around the spreadsheet so that it can
be folded in half for storage.

I dad is in early stage althiemers and its difficult to convince him
either to take his medication and eye drops; or that he already has.

My mother has had to take over this duty. And we need this to convince
him what he has taken without asking 500 times a day he what he has taken.

Are your two pages of different sizes? If the first page is smaller, and
you have things centered vertically, that would explain the difference.

Try looking at your pages in Page Break Preview (where you can drag the
break) or Page Layout View (2004) - are the pages the same size?

They are the same size. I even created from scratch another file with
the same information.

I'm using standard 8.5x11 letter size paper. I'm using the default font.

If your interested in actually looking at the file I can send it to you.
Its not large.

Hmm...

I tried both files you sent. Both printed two pages with identical
margins, both on a LaserJet and an Inkjet.

Could it be the driver file for the Hp deskjet 990cse using version 2.5
of the driver.
