Are you doing a manual sort or by Macro?

A macro is a simple way to repeat a series of instructions. Using them will
make your Excel much easier to use.

A quick and easy way would be to use a Macro to determine their position
using the ROW function before the sort, copy the values only to a hidden
column, then do the sort, then finally use ROW again to find their new
positon. Subtracting one from the other will give you the changes.

By doing it this way, you could reduce all this to pressing one button on
the sheet or one Ctrl/Alt combination.
