I have a picture that is facing right that I want to face left.

It is a clip art of a backhoe that I want to face left instead of right. I
have tried rotating but that only turns it upside at 180, straight up at 90
and of course, back to the original at 360. Any suggestions if this can be
done.

You can use Draw | Rotate or Flip | Flip Horizontal (on the Drawing toolbar)
if the picture has some wrapping other than In Line With Text applied.
