I have a PST file and need to recover hard deleted messages

I have a PST file off a stand alone PC.

There have recently been some sent emails that have been deleted that I
need to recover.

Anyone know if this is possible.

Microsoft Knowledge base only seems to imply that it can be done if you
have an exchange system that you work through.

Thanks for your feedback. The process worked, but did not recover any
deletions.

Then the file had already been truncated. The only way to recover then is to
restore from backup.
