Help
Here's the thing.
I have 2 pop3 e-mail addresses. Both have the same username but different
isps.
I noticed something really odd after I installed Microsoft Office 2002. I'd
get duplicates of the same e-mail.. at first I thought it was just someone
clicking twice or something but it turns out, I am not receiving any mail
from that account but that particular account is calling to the other one
(server wise).
They're different mail servers. but the both accounts have the same user
names and password. but I changed the offending account's e-mail password.
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. My settings are correct..
tripled checked with my ISP tech support already. I can access the webmail so
it's not the e-mail account problem. Here's the clincher, I removed the
e-mail account that was doing it's work properly and tried to download my
mail and it is now asking for the password. and when I put the password for
the account that has been removed which is on a different e-mail server all
together, it starts downloading the emails from that server.. I even sent
test messages.. and i verified that it's accessing the other e-mail server.
For some reason, settings for account A is calling up the server of account
B even after account B was removed from the Accounts in Tools. And thus
e-mails from account B are being downloaded provided the password is that of
account B.
