I have edited the wrap points. How do I get them to stay edited?

I am inserting a picture. I have edited the wrap points. How do I get them
to stay that way and the background be cut out????

I think I am right in saying that the wrap points are to control wrapping
and not what can be cut out of the picture. If you want to cut out some
background from your picture you really need to do it in a graphics program
but if you are stuck with Word then create some shapes using
autoshapes/liines/freeform and fill with white and choose noline. Crude but
it works but takes a lot of messing about - maybe there is another way

Editing Wrap Points has no *cropping* effect on the image - it merely
determines a boundary that the surrounding text is not permitted to cross.
Word does not offer the type of cropping you want to do. As is most often
the case, your image needs to be appropriately finalized in a graphics
program *before* inserting into your doc.
