I have lost my Office 97 Suite due to a worm virus

and my cd rom is broken (daughter was flustrated)is there
a way to download this from a download instead of a disc??

I can access some of my documents by using word pad, but I
am applying for jobs and need my windows works in a bad
way, I have been working on this problem since Friday!

I have my autho number if you need it the disc was given
to me when I purchased my Gateway but they say that they
cannpt help me! Since my warranty has expired due to a
contact thing with my divorce!

I had to rebuild my computer back up and I can get other
programs e mailed to me or downloaded but I cannot figure
this one out!

Buy a new CD ROM and reuse your Office 97 discs - Microsoft no longer offers
replacement media and it sounds like you have an OEM version anyway.

Milly's right but CD-ROM = CD Reader. You're going to need it sooner or
later anyway so it's better to bite the bullet now.

Alternatively, for a very few ££/$$ more you could have a CD Read/Writer
which will make back-ups a whole lot easier.

And speak sternly to your daughter re her temper!!!!!
