I have lost my office xp. how do i download with my product key?

Hi there,

I have an HP laptop, and it came with microsoft office XP. somehow it turned
over to 2003 for a 60 day trial. after the trial was up it said it was
expired and did i want to pay for it or remove it from my computer. i chose
to remove it, and now i dont have microsoft office at all. i inserted a disk
that said operating system CD microsoft windows xpm professional, and went
through the hour long process of "repair". i have no idea what i am doing,
and cannot for the life of me get my word, excel, ppt, back. can anyone
please help me? i have 2 papers due!!! thanks so much :)

your laptop. If they did not supply you with the CDs, then contact them and
ask for what they are contractually required to provide to customers who
purchase an Office suite with the computer.

Can you explain the above statement in your post. It does not turn over to a trial version by itself. Are you sure that you laptop did not come only with the Off 2003 Trial. Maybe you are mixing up WindowsXP thinking Office XP

Office is not on the disk labeld XP professional.
and cannot for the life of me get my word, excel, ppt, back. can anyone

From this message, I can only guess that you need to buy and install Office
2003. I was not aware of any variety of Office that has a free trial
period, but, if so, you really blew it by not paying for a permanent
version. The full blown version of Office which contains powerpoint, etc.,
is not inexpensive. The student versions of the Office products are much
less expensive, and you may qualify.
