I have Office 2000 XP

I have some word documents saved and when I try to open them
it says their unavailable. I transfer them on a jump drive to another
computer
and they work fine Any suggestions. I tried the fix and repair in the help
mode and
restored back two months no luck

Try reregistering Word. From Start, Run, type in

winword /r

and press enter. Has that helped? If not please come back and confirm that
these documents you cannot open are located on your local hard drive and
what is the exact error message? Are you patched fully up to date (both OS
and Office?) Thanks.
