I have Office Standard Edition 2003. Why am I being told to updat.

I have Office Standard Edition 2003 installed. When i look for updates even
when searching Office 2003 , I am being directed for updates to Office 2000.
Should i go ahead and install them anyway?

Do you have any applications from Office 2000 on your system?
If so there must be unapplied updates for these.
