The easy way is to collapse the summary, copy the collapsed summary and then
paste 50 times. You could write a macro to do it, but that would take just
as long.
Using CTRL+V is the same as paste so that might be a little faster. You can
get pretty quick at CTRL+V and the Down Arrow keys.
Just a thought, since you will be adding 5000 lines to your schedule and
they will all be the same, I suggest you go back and edit them so that each
one is unique. Otherwise, you will eventually run into the problem of "Which
one of my 50 instances of 'test the software module' is running late?"
We run into this frequently and have a macro that will concatenate a phrase
on to the front end or back end of the task name. You can also do it to a
spare text field to get a similar result that will work with group By.
Although useful, these macros are not "free ware"
