i have to confirm every delete

When deleting blocks of txt in wiord docs, I get a message asking me to
confirm that i would like to delete selected txt Y/N, how do i switch off
this feature, so I don't have to confirm every delete.

In Tools > Options > General, uncheck both options that mention
WordPerfect.

Thank God for this post... I was going nuts with the same problem. There
ought to be something in the normal Help section on this. There is nothing
helpful at al if you type in "delete blocks" ... not even basic instruction.
