XP Home is the operating system and completely separate to Office, other
than they're both MS products.
You will either have to buy a full retail version of Office,or if you have a
qualifying product, e.g. Works you may be able to use an upgrade version of
Office.
I think you might be confused. Windows XP (Home or Professional) is
completely unrelated to Microsoft Office. The former is an operating system,
the latter is a suite of applications that include Word, Excel, Outlook,
etc. Microsoft Office (latest version is 2003) runs great on Windows XP, but
it's a separate product you'd need to purchase. See http://office.microsoft.com/search/...C722AF32542198BE9D74B45F0D&QueryID=ApI62HpSk0
for a list of different editions of Office 2003.
