I keep getting error 80070652 when trying to install MSO updates.

3 MSO 2007 updates are constantly failing to install on my machine.
I tried the diagnostic tool, tried allowing MS to download the "file" to
supposedly help with update problems...
No articles in the knowledge base refer to that error code, apparently it
means an install is already in progress... although as far as I can tell, no
install are currently at least no process is running that would indicate that
this is the case (yes I restarted my pc).

I am also getting the same error message. Can no one come up with a solution?

Ok...here's what I did:

1. Used TuneUp Utilities 2007 to do disk clean up, registry defragmentation
and registry clean up.

2. The Tuneup registry defragmentation process requires a restart of the
computer so I did that

3. Didn't see the error message again and was able to install every program
I wanted to.

Lemme know if it works for you
