I"M ACCIDENTALLY CAPITALIZING EVERYTHING WHAT AM I DOING?

I keep hitting some combination of keys while I'm typing that reverses the
functions of capitalization. What am I doing? When it happens, how do I
turn off whatever it is I've done? Thanks.

It's probably either accidentally hitting the Caps Lock button, or turning
on StickyKeys. For StickyKeys, go to Start>>Help and look up StickyKeys.

If it reverses, you've pressed the CapsLock key. If it were capitalizing
*everything* (upper and lower case), it would be All Caps (Ctrl+Shift+A).

You're probably hitting the Caps Lock key by accident - just press it again
to turn it Off. When it is On there is a light that glows on your keyboard
to indicate it, normally right above the Numeric Keypad. You just have to be
more careful with your typing.

I am having the same problem. Some how I hit some combination of keys that
turned my keyboard into all caaps. The Caps Lock IS NOT on!!!

See if the "All Caps" checkbox is checked in the paragraph style
that's affected. (Is there a keyboard shortcut for that? Or maybe
someone at some point assigned one to that command.)

Sounds like "All caps" font formatting. To turn it off, try selecting the
text and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar. If that doesn't help, you'll have to modify
the underlying paragraph style.

The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+A, easy enough to press by mistake.
