I made FrontPage my default HTML editor!

When the dialog box came up asking if I wanted to make FrontPage my default
HTML editor, I clicked on yes and I need to know how to change it so that it
isn't my default HTML editor. Please let me know because I'm not able to
access the folder list in this mode.

In what program are you not able to access the folder list?

In FrontPage 2003. I talked to someone else that is using it also and they
are unable to access it either.

When you open FP then Open | Web Site you don't see a Folder List?

Open FrontPage and click File > Open site.

FrontPage should automatically display the folder list after you select a site to open.
If it doesn't, click View > Folders.

The fact that you set it as the default html editor actually has nothing to do with not
seeing the folders.

Thanks Steve! This worked! Now will the folders file stay open until I close
it? Because Folders wasn't even active in my FrontPage program before I tried
this. Now I should be able to open the View plane where you can select Page,
Folders, Reports, Navigation, Hyperlinks and Tasks from under View also,
correct? (It's supposed to be along that left side of the screen.) I am not
able to do that. If I click on new page, that view plane is not shown at all.
It is just the work area. Does that only come up when you load something into
FrontPage? Was this a change that was made from the FrontPage 2002 version to
the 2003 version? I'm kind of confused on this. Any help is appreciated.

All of those features require that you have a "Web" opened in FrontPage, not just a standard
folder that you've browsed to, or a single page.

If when you open your web, the main folder that contains it is just a plain yellow folder,
you need to right click it in FrontPage and then select "Convert to web"

The View Pane does not exist in FP2003, instead there is a View Bar,
located immediately under the work area, above the Status bar
