I messed up my Navagation Buttons

I had a form that I originally built using a wizard.
I changed a lot of things including the query I was using for a source ...
Now the Navigation Button show something like 18000 records (I have less
that 1000) and they don't seemed to be linked to the proper records.
Can someone give me some ideas on how to troubleshoot them ... otherwise
I will have to start all over again ... or tell me where to look in help?

I think I am beginning to get the picture ...
The recordsource in a Query that involves several tables.
