My client still uses Word 2000, therefore I have to do the same. I have a
set of .pdf drawings (created in Acrobat 6 by the client from CAD drawings)
that I need - urgently! - to insert sequentially in a Word document, so I
need a graphics filter that will let me do it! Help, please!

You probably need a copy of Adobe Acrobat or another Adobe product that reads
pdf files. (I don't know if shareware/freeware versions can do what I am
describing). With Adobe Acrobat you can save or export pdf files to a
graphic file format. If your client has the pdf files, ask him to save or
export each one them separately to the format that you need. It is a
relatively simple and quick process.

My company's pdf2picture software was designed for this, converting PDF
drawings to the native Windows vector graphics format, WMF. You'll be
able to insert, scale and even edit the drawings in Word. Vector
graphics, raster images and font text strings are all converted and
preserved as such. Assuming that the drawings are still vector-based
(sounds like they should be), keeping them in a vector format gives you
optimal print quality.

See www.pdf2picture.com for more info and a free evaluation.
