I am trying to create a web page for guitar players.
I keep using the tables in word but the keep messing up the spacing
it should be alt least 6 columns wide and 5 rows or so maybe less
with room to identify which fret and strings. I have been using a 7x6 table
with eadgbe across the top and fret numbers down the side. I use shading to
indcate where to put a finger and a number in the shading to indicate which
finger or the note which is being played...ie b3 or #5 which also screws up
the column width spacing. I cant seem to get more than 3 columns on a page
and I really need 6 columns per page
I also need some space under each chord to name it....and a header to name
the page...that it....simple...right.
and if it looks right and then i save it as a web page it screws everything
up as far as looking like a guitar fret board....help

Have you tried using Excel for this? I've been able to do some really cool
things with designing beadwork (needleweaving, not stringing) with Excel.
I've also seen needlework stitch diagrams done with the draw tool and it's
awesome.
